I am the MOM and I was here FIRST!

I am the MOM
I am a 44 year old mother of three children and grandmother of one. I am divorced from my children's father whom I share joint physical custody of our youngest two children with. I have been married to my fabulous husband for over 9 near-perfect years. I LOVE this man! He is a wonderful generous, affectionate, tolerant and all forgiving husband. He is also a terrific step-dad/male role model to my kids and an even better grand father to our two year old grand daughter. My oldest daughter attends college to obtain her nursing degree. She has been on her own for over three years now (no longer part of a shared custody arrangement like her brother & sister) My middle daughter is in high school and plays on the freshmen volleyball & soccer teams. She's really creative and talented. My son is in middle school and plays hockey and lacrosse. He is a sweet sensitive boy who still says "I love you Mom" frequently. I work part time running an online ebay store. I have terrific and supportive relationships with my family, friends and of course my kids. I am extremely close to my sister, my Mom and my sister-in-laws. They are my best friends.

I'm NOT Eating That

There is a Sara Lee Chocolate cake within the confines of that cake saver.

I AM NOT EATING THAT!

I had a Smoothie for breakfast and a wonderful lunch consisting of grilled Talipia, brown rice and a salad.

Yesterday, I rode the stationary bike for about 45 minutes.

I'm trying to eat healthier and take some weight off. My pants are a little loose, but I don't know how much weight I've lost because our scale is broken. That's probably just as well. I can become ridiculously obsessed with the NUMBER, that shows up in digital RED, from above the toes of my feet, when I step on it.

At the age of 44 and having lost a loved one recently, I just want to do what I can to live longer. I don't want to freak out about a number of pounds, but would rather just see myself in a smaller size while feeling better.

I can smell it...

But I'm not going to eat it!

My kids come home tomorrow. I'll tell them to invite their friends over and have at it...

I'm here to tell you to throw that cake right in the trash!! LOL I bought my daughter some cookies, thinking oh I'll just have one, but when she didn't eat them, and they were getting stale, I ate them to save the $6 I spent. I should have thrown them away.

I just discovered you have a red ebay store!!!! My sister collects red things for her kitchen as well, and even just bought a microwave with a red door. She's going to love this, I can't wait to tell her.

I'm really hoping my kids and their friends will gobble up the cake tomorrow, but you're right... I should toss it. That's so cool that your sister has red stuff in her kitchen... used to be I swear I was the only one, lol

Well, you are the only other one that I know of, but that's not saying much! LOL Hopefully the kids will eat the cake and save you!
